Club 1st XI wicketkeeper and batter Ash Middleton has achieved an extraordinary feat, completing a full marathon with no training in an astonishing time of 3 hours, 57 minutes and 22 seconds — breaking his personal goal of finishing under four hours.
Originally embarking on the challenge as a test of personal grit, Ash soon recognised the opportunity to turn his endeavour into something greater, choosing to raise funds for Andy’s Man Club, a charity dedicated to supporting men’s mental health. The result? Over £1,500 raised and counting.
The club has followed his run closely, and applaud the scale of the achievement. Running such a demanding distance without training is no small feat, and Ash’s determination and resilience has been nothing short of remarkable.
