Our season may be over, but there is plenty to do to prepare the ground for next summer, and that work has already started.
The square. After doing the heavy lifting over the summer, the square is getting its end-of-season refurbishment: top dressing, reseeding and plenty of water to encourage growth while the weather is still warm.
The outfield. Like those of all local clubs, our outfield suffered in the high summer temperatures. We have a programme of improvement work starting this month, and we'll have more on it in later news.
The boundary fence. The photo shows work under way on the boundary fence. Many of the posts and rails are rotten and need replacing. This work has started and we expect it to be finished by the end of October.
Keep an eye on the club news feed for further updates.
