Girls still smiling after a tough Horsley & Send match

Horsley & Send struggled to put a team together so we both played with 7 players (we lent them one of our players). However the 6 girls that turned up were proper 12 year olds compared to us 10 and 11 year olds. They seemed bigger and stronger than us and their bowling was lightning fast. I think we did well to stand up to the bowling but we need to work on our blocking of straight balls.
I am proud of Lucy for taking her first ever wicket and also Charlotte for her wicket.
We all had fun and were still smiling at the end of the evening!
