With winter around the corner October is our month for clearing up after a busy season, and packing our outfield equipment into the pavilionfor storage and protection.

The week, we aim to break the back of the work - and we are likely to be a bit busier than usual.

As well as packing away equipment, we need to clean the pavilion and replace tables and chairs, and rehang shelves and TVs after completion of our 5-year internal redecoration.

All this needs to be completed before our quiz in the evening, and resumption of ground works contractors on the pavilion hard standing the following Monday.

So if you have a few hours you can make available to help, it will be gratefully received and put to good use.

We will assemble from 9am, on Saturday 17 October. There will be bacon butties for breakfast, and teas, coffees and biscuits available throughout the morning to keep us refreshed.
