Louis Russell Watts knocked a priceless 114 not out against Marden last Saturday rescuing a game that looked to be slipping away when Outwood slipped to 86-6 in the 21st over.

Combining first with Dru Tunstall for a 7th wicket stand of 66 (32 - Louis, 24 - Dru) and then Matt Talbot for the 8th wicket of 71 (58 - Louis, 8 - Matt) the innings closed on 220 for 7

In reply the Marden chase ran out of steam on 189 for 7 with bowlers Louis, and Will Blease combining to put the squeeze on the Marden batsmen in the opening overs.

A win by 31 runs keeps our push for the title on track, made possible by some gritty batting and able support from our lower order.
