Outwood reached the third round of the Plate knockout stages with a comfortable win over Dorking Rugby Club.

Losing the toss, the Outlaws were asked to bat, and made 142-6 in their 20 overs. Ben Cleaver starred with both bat and ball with 53 from 42 balls and 3 wickets for 12 runs, as the Dorking Rugby run chase fell short by 53 runs.

The Outlaws fielding was excellent, every catch offered was taken with tight pick ups and returns keeping the pressure on the Dorking batters. In addition to Ben's 'three-fer', all Outwood bowlers made valuable contributions with Lucas also picking up a 'three-fer' in just three overs.

The win sets up a home game in round three against the Oakwood 'Sloggers' scheduled for Wednesday 27 July from 6pm
